Textile Print & Interiors

Designed and delivered interior & soft furnishings for the Indigenous memorial, and childrens' & carers space in harmony with the Frank Gehry architecture at the University of Technology Business School Ultimo NSW.
This is a culturally appropriate design, where original motifs created by the Jarrett children, digitised and developed into prints that celebrate the remarkable achievements of Dr Dean Jarrett the faculty's first Indigenous Ph.D. and Fulbright scholar. We produce an outcome that all stakeholders loved.

Imagine a dress that responds to nature.
The BIOdress connects the wearer with the
environment by reacting and changing in accordance with the ambient conditions.
The technology includes toxic air sensors, dust particulates, and an EMG sensor which was hooked up to the plant … data is fed through microcontrollers and the outcomes include robotic sleeves, nitinol leaf applique that move, and thermochromic dyes that changed colour.
