Zoe Mahony Design

Sydney-based Textile Designer ;

My Key strengths include : trend forecasting, textile print & jacquard design, collection development, CAD and spec preparation, production and sourcing co-ordination, stakeholder presentations, and team leadership.

In my current position achievements for 2025 include contributing to account growth through commercially focused design and successful range execution. I have lead the design team and contributed to the design and launch of a new in house collection of hand crafted maximalist bedding for the Australian market.

​

My experience is in Australian and European RTW markets with roles in design, production, supply chains, and marketing. I am a seasoned undergrad and post-grad educator, having taught fashion and textile design, design thinking, communication, and new technologies. I graduated with First Class Honours from UTS's renowned Bachelor of Design Fashion and Textiles. Then received the Churchill Fellowship and have written on design studio practice in England, Belgium, and France. My University of NSW APA-funded research explores collaboration, aesthetics, identity, and technology. Throughout my career, I have engaged in curating, exhibiting, and freelance design projects.
